JANE ELIZABETH BROWNELL (nee DUSANG) May 9, 1937 - July 26, 2004 It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Jane Elizabeth Brownell, predeceased by her mother and father (Edna and Clifford). Left to mourn and to forever cherish her memory are son Glenn (Cheryl) three grand-children, Ian, Dylana, Ryan; brother Howard (Helen) nephews; cousin Betty; ex-husband Melvin; and family friend Kenny. Jane was attending Tec Voc High School when she met and later married Melvin. They were living in Victoria when Glenn was born. Jane and Glenn later moved home to Winnipeg. Jane worked at many jobs to raise her son Glenn to the best of her ability, he was her whole world. She enjoyed reading, movies and shopping trips to Eatons. Those who knew Jane well knew she had a beautiful singing voice and was not shy about proving this at family gatherings. Jane especially enjoyed the times she spent with her grandchildren. Some say God has a plan for everyone and Janes was to take care of her family members that needed her. Not everyone may have understood her ways, but her heart was always in the right place. Jane was raised Catholic and never forgot that. We have faith that she is now in the company of Angels where she always said she would be. Viewing will take place from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, August 2 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 3 at Brookside Cemetery.
